CHARACTER INTERVIEW
CHARACTER/S:
Nami
Windman
Trynis
KiNETiC
Bel
Darius
Who/What are you?
Nami: A chameleon! Also, an old author-persona for Q-Lok. At one point I was known as an Emissary of the "Great Author Dude," but of course that was back in his n00b days.
Windman: I'm mostly Reploid. My operating system is a bit closer to that of the more communicative Dreamcybers, though. The main difference is that I was designed as an organism rather than a system, and so have more personality and interactivity than hard logic. I also shared a stint as an Emissary with Nami in the days of Chaos Comics.
Trynis: I'm one of the warriors chosen to rescue Cephiro. I'm told that my Cephiro is an alternate world to the one most people are familiar with, though. I'm a light magician by trade, and my hometown is the castle town outside Cephiro Castle. I never did get to find my Mashin or my Escudo weapon, but Clef did get the chance to tell our group that we were supposed to get them eventually.
KiNETiC: I'm an Earth Aspect. I do movement and energy, and my granted power is force beams.
Bel: I am a red giant star -- or rather, its embodiment. Our kind lives far outside your group of galaxies, so don't bother looking for us.
Darius: I am the avatar of a white dwarf star. I am one of the presiding council over our galaxy, but my influence is waning in my star's age.
How old are you?
Nami: Late teens. I spent about three years at age 15, but Jacob eventually retconned me out of that year of my life. He never did bother pinning my age down to any particular year afterward, though.
Windman: Only about five years, but for a robot that isn't bad.
Trynis: Twenty-one.
KiNETiC: I am ageless, but my birth was near the earliest moments of our world, a bit over a century ago.
Bel: My star is billions of years older than I; I was ensouled only seven millennia ago.
Darius: I have been bound to my star since it shined as a blue giant, many hundreds of millions of years ago.
YOU WANT A HUG?? XD
Nami: Erm... No thanks?
Windman: I don't suppose I could stop you, could I?
Trynis: Sure! ^_^
KiNETiC: Get away from me before I force beam you to the Moon.
Bel: A what?
Darius: I am unfamiliar with that custom. I apologize.
You got any bad habits?
Nami: Not anything terrible, no.
Windman: I don't have habits, bad or otherwise; I'm a robot.
Trynis: Nah. I'm a hero, what am I supposed to do?
KiNETiC: I tend to get stressed over, well, pretty much everything. If it's worth worrying about, I worry about it more than it's worth.
Bel: Irritability, antisociality, should I continue?
Darius: I have come to peace with most of my flaws, but I still fail to value myself when others do not value my words.
Are you a boy or a girl?
Nami: Guy, all the way!
Windman: I'm a male-pattern Reploid, but that doesn't really give me either one.
Trynis: I'm a boy.
KiNETiC: Demia are genderless. You do know that, right?
Bel: I'm sorry? I don't know what that is.
Darius: I do not understand. Please explain what you mean.
Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Nami: Nope, I'm an only child.
Windman: I was the only Reploid built from my pattern, so no.
Trynis: My older brother was killed at the beginning of the monster attacks, but other than that I have no family. My parents died young as well, even despite the Princess' prayers.
KiNETiC: Only our race. We don't consider each other siblings, as such, but we were all created by -- and, therefore, "children" of -- the same man.
Bel: Can we please have a question I understand?
Darius: No. We are created of stars and we are born of spirit. We cannot have siblings because we are not born.
Who's your mate/spouse?
Nami: None whatsoever. I'm a happy bachelor at the moment.
Windman: And you expect me to mate with someone how again?
Trynis: No, adventuring, killing monsters, and saving the world doesn't leave much time for a family life. If I had the chance to pick, though, I'd choose Aliratha.
KiNETiC: I'm unattached. Our kind has no need for romance or mating, so I don't bother.
Bel: Sadly, I haven't got one. I've been trying to conjoin with Christmas Star for two millennia, but that hasn't gone anywhere.
Darius: My star does not have a binary companion, and I have not conjoined either... not for many eons.
Do you have any kids?
Nami: Nope. Too young for that, certainly.
Windman: I repeat -- how?
Trynis: Nah. Lifestyle choices and all that.
KiNETiC: No gender, no children. Is it really that hard to grasp?
Bel: So we're back to the words that I don't understand again. Great.
Darius: Kids... offspring... children... Hmm. I am searching for a comparable term that applies to our society, but it appears there is no directly similar concept.
What's your favorite food?
Nami: Fruits and berries, especially the juiciest types. I'm a fan of the sweet stuff, as well.
Windman: Come on, are you not even
looking at my metal and not-food-requiring body or something?
Trynis: I'm fond of beef, especially when used in Cephiran cooking. Of course, a great deal of our beef and other meats are taken from deceased monsters, so it probably isn't what you're used to.
KiNETiC: Of course I don't have to eat -- or consume anything other than Ideya energy when it really comes down to it -- but there's this little café in Teeming Metropolis that makes the best onion soup you'll ever eat.
Bel: I don't understand this. In fact, this whole interview seems skewed against our people. Care to explain that, or should I just leave?
Darius: Food -- fuel! This is a concept analogous to our hydrogen sustenance. But I have no favorite, as there is only one significant variety.
Have you ever killed anyone?
Nami: An alternate-universe me was much more brutal than I am and resorted to murder more than once, but I myself have never killed any sentient.
Windman: I killed Bill Gates once. It was glorious, let me tell you.
Trynis: Just monsters, but loads of them.
KiNETiC: Nope. Barely even killed any Minions, actually. Selph usually saves me for the upper-level Nightmaren, and I haven't yet successfully defeated any of them in battle, so I have yet to test my ability to kill.
Bel: To make a star's core go cold is unthinkable! I could
never--!
Darius: The universe is too dark as it is; we need as much light as all the stars there are can produce. To stop that light is a detriment to the world, and I refuse ever to be a party to it.
Do you hate anyone?
Nami: My own Black form is the most hateful being I have yet encountered. That version of me is... Well. You just don't want to meet him. By extension, the being I hate most is myself.
Windman: Not exactly. There are a few people, but I don't really feel any organic emotion. My emotions are programmed and so I can't truly hate.
Trynis: Zagato, Alcyone, and the rest of the turncoats that betrayed our country -- and, more importantly, the Princess.
KiNETiC: Nah, it's not worth the effort.
Bel: People bug me, but not
that much.
Darius: The singularities that roam our galaxy are frightful indeed; the mere thought of a black hole not only fills me with fear but with rage as well.
What is your job?
Nami: Once upon a time, I was the Emissary of the Great Author Dude, but it's been a very long time indeed. Since then, it's been everything between Zone Cop, color mage, paladin of Good, author insert, Power-hunter, Lightside City guardian, city founder, and Jacob's part-time Muse along with Windman.
Windman: I currently play Muse for Jacob some of the time, but I was built as a warrior.
Trynis: You could probably call it "Monster Hunter," but I prefer to be called a hero.
KiNETiC: Demia of force and motion. Earth Aspect. Not that much to it, really.
Bel: Stellar avatar. If that's not what you meant, I'm not sure what else to tell you.
Darius: I am a member of the Council of Stars. Barely.
What do you do to relax?
Nami: Go into camo mode and sit in trees. There's just something really relaxing about being in that situation, invisible, knowing that it's totally empty, even of you.
Windman: Shut down to save power or for maintenance, if I need either, or running maintenance checks on my system files. Sad, I know.
Trynis: Blow off steam by killing monsters. Not much else to do.
KiNETiC: Adrenaline is always good, and the easiest way I know to get a rush is to detach my spikes from the ground and fling myself into the air with force beams. You'd be surprised how fun that can be.
Bel: Merge with my star. The fires of my core are the best environment in which to think and meditate. Besides, that way I'm there if something goes wrong.
Darius: Avoid the Council. Their constant arguing and bickering and prejudice and bigotry have deeply affected my peace of mind for the worse.
There's a person who's teasing you.
Nami: Well that would be annoying, wouldn't it?
Windman: Okay. And?
Trynis: What do they have to tease me about? I'm a hero!
KiNETiC: And would they like force beams to the face with that, or are they just dumb?
Bel: Go away already. I really don't feel up to abiding more needless irritation.
Darius: If I've offended, please tell me how, that I may rectify my error.
Let's say there's a person you really care about but she/he doesn't know your feelings.
Nami: Okay. Well, the easiest way to deal with that is to show them how I feel by doing what I do best -- protection.
Windman: Neat trick. I don't feel anything, remember?
Trynis: Like I said before, the closest person to this is Aliratha, but she's almost more like a sister... almost.
KiNETiC: Not sure about that. It's never yet happened to me.
Bel: That's really not the case. As far as I know, Christmas Star knows exactly how I feel about her, but she is simply unable to come to grips with herself enough to accept me.
Darius: Then there is a problem. I am no longer bright enough to show what I feel, let alone enough to conjoin.
Do you like your creator?
Nami: Sure. I was basically him for several years, so I know him inside and out. The only thing I didn't like is the issues he was planning to put me through back in Chaos Comics before he abandoned the project.
Windman: Yet again, no real feelings. But my programmed emotions find me agreeing with his presence quite a bit.
Trynis: Like my friend Nami over there, I was an author-insert. So yes.
KiNETiC: Barely ever see him. He should visit more, so that I know what not to like about the guy.
Bel: He gave me my one awesome pose, that's good enough for me.
Darius: My intelligence has existed since before time and after the end of matter. It was neither created nor destroyed, but simply changed.
Favorite season?
Nami: Each one has something to be said for it, and each one has something to say.
Windman: Summer. Stronger weather control and generally less wetness to damage my systems.
Trynis: I'm fond of spring. Bright mornings and strong winds are my ideals, but I certainly enjoy the warmth as well.
KiNETiC: Autumn, I think. The colors are strong in the autumn.
Bel: What's a season?
Darius: Season... A relative rotation of a planet around its star, is that correct? Seasons are not relevant.
Who's your best friend?
Nami: Twilight Kantowa.
Windman: Friend really doesn't apply here, does it? Oh well. If I had to pick someone for that spot, it'd be Kumai. After all, he does command my Navi port.
Trynis: Kanzeon and Osis always handled things well. Good people to hang around.
KiNETiC: CHiME.
Bel: Christmas Star. Not many like her in the entire universe, much less in our little corner of it.
Darius: I have retained only a very few friends in my age. The only one I feel I can trust is Mordecai... alarming, when one thinks of the changes he has undergone over recent centuries.
Hobbies?
Nami: I read. I learn. Just about any way I can, I gather information, generally on my own.
Windman: As I said before, cleaning my system. Making coding improvements, that kind of thing. Not remarkably interesting, but it's what I do.
Trynis: I spend most of my down-time helping the kids in the villages I pass through to learn their magic -- the ones that are interested, anyhow.
KiNETiC: I observe culture. Mostly our own lately, because of the "dreamer drought" we're stuck in at the moment.
Bel: What in the Galaxy is a hobby?
Darius: I'm afraid I am unfamiliar with this concept.
So...what are you gonna do now?
Nami: I guess I'll head back to the emblem room.
Windman: Back into standby mode, I suppose. Not much else needs doing in here.
Trynis: The monsters that Kanzeon's been tailing are approaching a settlement, so I'm off to get rid of them.
KiNETiC: Probably head back to the Metropolis. Apparently RiVET had something there that needed testing.
Bel: Get back to my project -- getting Christmas Star to open up. I've only been working with her for a couple of thousand years, so there's still a good chance of success.
Darius: As I mentioned earlier, I'm going to avoid the Council. I am weary of their petty problems.
100 QUESTIONS FOR ARTISTS
01. What is your pen name?
Q-Lok. Also, Jacob Libris.
02. What made you choose this name?
I came up with it a long time ago, and it sort of stuck.
03. Do you use PC or Mac?
Mac.
04. What programs do you use most often?
Firefox, TextEdit, iTunes, Last.FM, Skype, Audacity, GIMP, Photoshop Elements, MS Word 2003 For Mac, Grab, GarageBand, Activity Monitor,
et cetera.
05. Do you use mouse, or tablet?
Tablet, whenever I'm drawing on the computer. Which isn't often these days.
06. What color or color combination's do you find yourself using most often?
I frequently use greens, dark colors, and warm colors. Not often all together, though.
07. What part of a picture do you put most effort into?
I dunno. I usually have to put the most work into the lineart, just because I'm lousy at it.
08. How long does it take you do draw a picture?
Depends on the size and how good I feel it needs to be. Usually upwards of an hour, sometimes upwards of a week.
09. Do you keep your rough drafts?
Oh yes.
10. What font do you use most often?
Arial. But I don't really use it in art... ever.
11. When you scan your image, what DPI do you use?
300. Or 75, depending on whether I care.
12. Do you do anything else when you're drawing?
Anything else meaning listen to music or otherwise distract myself? Yes. Anything else meaning additional techniques? Not so much.
13. Approximately how many pictures do you draw in a month?
Depends on the month.
14. What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
Mostly whatever I have on-hand. I try to put my work on actual art pads, though.
15. What kind of paper do you use for rough sketches and drafts?
Same thing. I try to put them on my nice paper, but whatever's handy.
16. How long does it take you to ink something?
Not long, but I really enjoy that part a lot more than the linework, so I do it with a bit more vigor.
17. Do you do comics, or fan comics?
Rarely, but yes.
18. Do you like comics? Are they fun to make?
I think I would really enjoy inking comics, but the layouts and drawing the same characters in similar scenes and poses over and over is insanely boring, so I've never gotten it to the fun parts.
19. Have you ever submitted anything to a magazine?
Nope.
20.
Q20 was missing. Nothing to see here, folks.
21. Who are your favorite artists?
=
spinningcannon, ~
Madmatica, ~
astrima/*
iMAGNi, ~
Ideya-Freak... The list goes on and I don't have time to write it all out. You get the idea.
22. Do you like anime/manga? If so, what are your favorite series?
Yes; I enjoy Tsubasa, Cardcaptor Sakura, Magic Knight Rayearth, .hack//SIGN, Read Or Die, the first series of Pokémon and Digimon, Metropolis, Astro Boy/Mighty Atom, Black Jack, Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, Rockman.EXE, Angelic Layer, Trigun, Wolf's Rain, Samurai Champloo... I'm pretty sure there are more that go on this list. I'd have put Serial Experiments Lain, but that's just too creepy.
23. Do you like cartoons/comics? If so, what are your favorite series?
Yes. Beast Wars (not entirely sure that counts), Reboot (same problem), G1 Transformers, ElfQuest, Watchmen, The Amazing Spider-Man (it's important to distinguish the first years of the Spider-Man franchise from the frankly weird newer ones), The Uncanny X-Men (same thing), King of Persia and all the rest of Walt Holcombe's work (as published in Things Just Get Away From You)... Again, I'm certain there are a good few others that I'm forgetting here.
24. Any artists that you wish you could draw like?
See my answer to 21.
25. Do you read a lot of books?
Used to. Now, not so much.
26. Did you ever buy a book to inspire or teach you to draw?
Sorta. Not really.
27. Any video games you enjoy?
Lots and lots. Please don't ask me to list them.
28. Any favorite characters from video games?
Yes. Not going to list those either. I think I put them down on another quiz somewhere.
29. Do you have a favorite writer?
A few. WâRP, Garth Nix, Diane Duane, Neil Gaiman, =
spinningcannon, =
LordBlumiere, Walt Holcombe, William Goldman, and I'm starting to quite enjoy Catharine Jinks.
30. Any books you really enjoy?
Young Wizards, the Evil Genius series, The Princess Bride, Seventh Tower
31. Do you draw fanart?
Yes.
32. Do you listen to music while you draw?
Yes.
33. Any recommended songs?
Not really. My recommendation is to find the mood that best fits your work, then play only music that promotes that mood for you. Everyone's tastes are a little different, so it's difficult to pick just one song that's helpful to everyone.
34. Any other art websites that you really enjoy?
Not really, no.
35. Are there any websites that you go to everyday?
dA, obviously; iGoogle; there are a few others, including a bunch of webcomics, but those are the big ones.
36. What is your dream website like?
I'm thinking full data on who is and is not online at any given moment -- by IP rather than username -- a great deal of content, amusing and serious alike, a thoughtful and caring community that does not act like jerks nine-tenths of the time... Hmm, I think that's it. ...Oh, and built-in online productivity tools (i.e. artistic and data document editing, etc.).
37. Do you like your own art?
Sure, mostly. Except when I was being lazy drawing it.
38. What do you enjoy watching on television?
Not much. I watch DVDs because the few good shows that have been on in the last few years are all on cable, which we don't get, only.
39. Favorite celebrity?
Stephen Hawking. I'd say either Bob Martin or Janet Van De Graaff, but they're totally unknown outside the theater crowd in the States and so barely count.
40. Favorite color?
Green and orange. Not together, though. They look kinda weird together most of the time.
41. Favorite food?
Pesto and the dishes that go with it.
42. Favorite drink?
Cream soda, either flat American or carbonated Italian. The American kind has fantastic flavor but obscenely over-carbonates and is only good flat; the Italian kind has very-different-but-still-fantastic flavor and also is usually carbonated only enough to get a nice little fizzy kick to it -- not enough to blow your sinuses out with a belch afterwards.
43. Do you like to go shopping? If yes, where? And for what?
Sort of. I do like shopping at game stores and computer stores (though not for non-Apple equipment), and in those cases for pretty much anything they sell. Otherwise, usually not at all.
44. Can you cook?
Sort of. I'm quite capable of it, but I usually just
don't.
45. Any devices you use often for email? Any electronic pets?
Again, sort of. I used Kiara for e-mail for a short time, but it was too headachy to get her to work with the updated Gmail system. As for e-pets, no.
46. Are you tech-savvy?
Yup.
47. Do you want to become a professional artist?
That would be very good for me, yes.
48. Are there any other jobs you're interested in?
Sure. Psychiatrist/therapist, computer programmer, graphic designer (yes, yes, it's very similar, I know), game designer, sysadmin (probably not), and finally, whatever a philosophy major does for a living.
49. Any other hobbies or skills besides drawing?
I relate well to technology, and I have a great and abiding creativity and curiosity that carry across to pretty much everything I do.
50. Do you like to watch movies?
Sure, some of them.
51. What's your favorite movie?
I dunno, probably either Princess Bride or Mirrormask. Wall-E is up there as well.
52. Have you ever entered an art contest?
A long, long, LONG time ago, yes. It was in this galaxy, though, so at least that's something.
53. When did you start drawing seriously?
About two years ago. Maybe three months before I joined dA.
54. Do you use references? If so, for what?
Yes. ...For reference, what do you think? I'm notoriously bad at getting small details right from memory, even for my own characters, so it's necessary for me to use reference art.
55. Are you a subscriber? If so, are you a beta-tester?
Yes and no.
56. Do you have a lot of net friends?
I have a good few, not tons. About as many as I can deal with right now, though, so it's fine.
57. Do you have a lot of friends that also draw?
Yes, almost all of them on dA.
58. What time of the day do you usually go online?
Anytime I can.
59. Do you like to go to chat rooms?
I did for awhile, but the total lack of any real direction to their conversations really turned me off to the whole chat scene.
60. Do you have your own computer?
Yes, two of them.
61. What would you say to the person that you admire?
I love you. And I'm sorry.
62. Does your mind wander when you draw?
Oh yes.
63. Have you drawn poorly because you think too much?
Somewhat. Yeah.
64. Do you have any friends who are professional artists?
No, I don't think so. Unless you count my animator friend.
65. Where do you often hang out?
I don't hang out, which is really something I'd like to change one of these days.
66. Are there any popular artists that you don't like much?
There are a few. Not many, though.
67. Are there any situations in which you really don't like being an Artist?
Not really, other than when people suddenly think I'm the cat's meow for no other reason and decide to start following me around for free artwork. Also when I'm around my extended family. They pester me.
68. How about situations that make you love it?
Anytime people like my work. Or connect to it. Or connect to me through it. Or even pay attention to it.
69. What's the one thing that makes you grateful that the internet exists?
=
spinningcannon.
70. Is there anything out there that makes you wish the internet didn't exist?
Yes, there is.
71. What's your first drawing?
I don't know. Probably the stuff in my preschool book.
72. Any art you did prior to that?
Um, no, that was my first drawing.
73. Has your style changed a lot since then?
AhahahaYES.
75. Have you experienced artist's block before?
Plenty of times.
76. If so, how do you usually get out of it?
I usually just wake up one day really inspired and if I can actually get myself to draw during that day I can be totally free of my block for awhile. If not, I fall back into it for between a couple of days and a few weeks.
77. What do you do when you can't get out of it?
Stay in it. Not much choice there, is there?
78. Any people that have influenced you a lot?
Yes, too many to list.
79. What made you want to start drawing?
Meeting my Muse, Selph. That's what finally made it happen.
81. Has anything ever made you want to quit art all together?
A few times. Not really, though.
82. What do you think about netiquette?
I think it isn't followed or enforced nearly as much as it should be. People are pretty much jerks all the time, so netiquette is mostly ignored in practice, and I hate it.
83. Have you ever been spammed or trolled?
A couple times, yes. Thankfully I don't have to deal with it very much, though.
86. Do you upload high quality versions of your art submissions, or do you prefer to upload a lower quality?
I upload the highest quality I have on-hand.
87. Do you have custom CSS? If so, did you make it yourself?
No, but I'm going to put some in soon.
88. Do you have good vision?
Haha, not even slightly. Without my glasses, I can't see more than five inches in front of me.
89. If you can get anyone's autograph, whose would you get?
I'd say either Bob Martin or Janet Van De Graaff on this one as well, but I already have theirs. I'm going to have to go with TRiPPY (*
iMAGNi and ~
astrima) or DiGi (*
iMAGNi and ~
Digi7777) on this.
91. Do you like to draw on Oekaki BBS?
Used to. Never really got the hang of it, though. I should try again one of these days.
92. Do you have a job?
Yeah. Hate it.
93. Did you take art in school? If so, did you do well? Are you still taking it?
No, other than in high school. Will be taking art classes soon, though.
94. Have you taken art lessons outside of a school setting?
Barely. But yes.
95. Have you ever drawn something just because it was the cool thing to do -- the hip new fad?
I don't think so, no.
96. What's your favorite phrase/quote?
Hmm. I'm not sure, actually. I have a lot of favorites. I'm going to have to go with the one I had in my sig for ages on end for this one: "Listen... there's nothing harder than knowing the person that you love is unhappy. And I know how important it is to do something about it." -Commander Benjamin Sisko,
Star Trek: Deep Space 9 ...Or possibly: "Sometimes the appropriate response to reality is to go insane." -Philip K. Dick
97. Do you present yourself differently online than you do in your real life?
Not really. At least, I try not to.
98. What's your goal now?
To make myself even slightly stable again.
99. What do you have to say to yourself?
Trust me when I tell you you don't want me to repeat it here.
100. Do you have anything else to say to everyone out there?
No, not really.
Question 1
Which type of Pokémon is your favorite?
Answer: I'm fond of Electric, but there's certainly also something to be said for Dragon, Ice, Grass, and Fire.
Question 2
Which three starters are best?
Answer: The R/B/G set.
Question 3
Which games do you have?
Answer: Blue, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Stadium, Stadium 2, Pikachu 2 GS, Trading Card Game (both physical and lame GB cartridge)
Question 4
In the games, which gender do you normally choose?
Answer: Male.
Question 5
Do you watch the anime?
Answer: Used to. Until the beginning of the Johto series, it was pretty good, but then I stopped because I could not abide the sheer stupidity of it.
Question 6
How many seen in the Pokédex of your latest game?
Answer: In Crystal (the last cartridge I bought) I have no idea. In Blue (the last one I emulated), around 140. I think a couple more.
Question 7
And how many caught in that Pokédex?
Answer: In Crystal, again, I have no idea. In my emulated copy of Blue, I've caught about 90 or 92, as I recall.
Question 8
Do you even like Pokémon?
Answer: Quite. Yes. But not past G/S/C, as they more and more clearly began to run out of ideas with each successive game release.
Question 9
Do you collect the Trading Cards?
Answer: Used to until partway through the Neo release.
Question 10
If you have the Trading Cards, do you play the game or just collect?
Answer: Used to play back when anyone I knew cared even slightly. I still sometimes pull my cards out to play with my family, though.
Question 11
Do you have an account on Bulbapedia?
Answer: No, though I have found myself using the site for reference lately.
Question 12 (Only if you said yes on question 11)
What is your username there?
Answer: Nonexistent.
Question 13
Do you have a lot of Pokémon pics/stories faved?
Answer: Not as many as I really should, no.
Question 14
Do you draw Pokémon?
Answer: Kinda. I've sort of started to try it lately, but I haven't gotten around to making any major effort at it yet.
Quetion 15
Do you write about Pokémon?
Answer: Not yet, but I have a rather disjointed story playing itself out in my mind, so sooner or later I'll probably be writing that.
Question 16 (Only if you said yes on 14 or 15)
Are your stories/drawings faved?
Answer: None are online yet, so no.
Question 17
What is your favorite Pokémon?
Answer: My favorite species are probably Rapidash, Magneton, Electabuzz, Raichu, Pidgeot, Parasect (I am
determined to make the one I have on Blue version worth using), Farfetch'd (and who DOESN'T love the duck with the leek?), Hitmonchan, Staryu, Scyther, Porygon, Kabuto, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Dragonair, Ledian, Steelix, Scizor, and Skarmory. I also am fond of the Eevee evolutions, but they're so horridly overused that they don't make my list. As for individual Pokémon, the ones which I've showered with by far the most love (so far) are Borealis (my level 78 Raichu), and a level 55 Butterfree that I usually use against the Elite Four.
Question 18
And your second favorite?
Answer: After those two, I'm going to have to go with my level 65 Venusaur.
Question 19
What is your favorite legendary?
Answer: The legendary birds are my favorites, but I'd be hard-pressed to choose just one. One thing that's always bothered me about them, though, is their ridiculously small move selection (not counting TMs, of course).
Question 20
And your second favorite legendary?
Answer: I'd have to go with Mew. I've always liked the idea of an ultimately powerful, one-of-a-kind Pokémon that's a flying pink kitten.
Question 21
Do you know what 493 is in the National Pokédex?
Answer: No, nor do I care.
Question 22
What is it?
Answer: I don't know.
Question 23
Would you rather have a Meowth or a Growlithe?
Answer: Growlithe. They're easily more awesome in most ways. The one thing Meowth has going for it is Pay Day, which is essentially a Pokémon mugging. And who doesn't want that?
Question 24
How many of your relatives like Pokémon?
Answer: A lot fewer of them now than when it was actually new.
Question 25
How often do you think about Pokémon?
Answer: Lately? All the time. For the past eight or so years? Almost never.
Question 26
Do you keep the fact you like Pokémon from your real life friends?
Answer: Not really, but I don't really advertise it either.
Question 27
What pets do you have that resemble Pokémon?
Answer: None.
Question 28
What Pokémon do you hate most?
Answer: Just about anything created after G/S/C. Generation III and onwards are an insult to the old fans.
Question 29
Which Eeveelution do you like best?
Answer: I'm fond of Jolteon, though I think I like Flareon's move list better.
Question 30
Which Castform form is best?
Answer: The point of a Pokémon that changes form to match the weather without actually evolving completely escapes me.
Question 31
Which Deoxys form is best?
Answer: Again, why bother with the Transformers Pokémon?
Question 32
Which Giratina form is best?
Answer: See 30 and 31. I have a low opinion of the Pokémon that do this. Not, of course, that the rest of the latest two generations were anything more than shameful, but still. Those ones were worse than usual.
Question 33
Skymin or Shaymin?
Answer: Neither, please.
Question 34
Phione or Manaphy?
Answer: See 33.
Question 35
Darkrai or Cresselia?

Question 36
Gardevoir or Gallade?
Answer: See 33.
Question 37
Glalie or Froslass?
Answer: See 33.
Question 38
Magmortar or Electivire?
Answer: Heavens no. The whole reason I liked Magmar and Electabuzz in the first place was because they didn't need to evolve to be awesome. Also, having looked them up on Bulbapedia, I can say without reservation that these two Pokémon are ugly as sin.
Question 39
Chatot or Farfetch'd?
Answer: Farfetch'd.
Question 40
Pidgey, Spearow or Starly?
Answer: Pidgey. I've always liked Pidgeot, so there you go.

Question 45
Articuno, Zapdos or Moltres?
Answer: Prolly Zapdos. I like the other two just as much, though.
Question 46
Mew or Mewtwo?
Answer: Mewtwo, methinks. Just because I don't really know anything about Mew's attacks and stats.
Question 47
Lugia or Ho-Oh?
Answer: I actually like Lugia somewhat better, but I'm going to answer Ho-Oh for this on account of the fact that, since Pokémon The Movie 2000, Lugia's gotten all the attention.
Question 48
Entei, Suicune or Raikou?
Answer: I really don't care. I've never really liked the idea of "legendary dogs" much.
Question 49
Celebi or Jirachi?
Answer: Celebi.
Question 50

Yeah. No reason in the world not to, at my low level of popularity.

11. Do you think the age limit should be higher than 13 for creating an account?
No, but I do think that kids should be more responsible with their accounts than they generally are.
12. Do you go on the DA forums?
